Crazy Lady
Ok, I was waiting to get my car aligned at Firestone the other day when I noticed that I was hearing someone whispering above the noise of the tv. I looked around. I spied this lady sitting across the waiting room. She seemed to be involved in a conversation, but I noticed there was no one next to her and neither was there a phone in her hand. So, I'm thinking she must have a blue tooth on the other side of her head. Shortly after brushing the idea aside that this lady might just be talking to herself, she stood up and began to wander about the waiting room. That's when I realized that not only was there no blue tooth and she really was talking to herself, but she was also answering herself and gesturing with her hands! I just had to take a photo.
Youth Camp '08
This year I had the "privilege" of helping cook for the Bible Methodist Youth Camp in Knoxville, TN. This was the youth camp I attended while growing up in TN. I had not been back to visit since 2000. It was great seeing some old friends, making new ones, and cooking in that awful, hot kitchen with no A/C! I do believe that at one point it was hotter in the kitchen then outside under the sun.

Texas de Brazil - Memphis
My boss, and a few others went to eat at a restaurant in Memphis called "Texas de Brazil". It is awesome! They serve about 14 different types of meats which they bring to your table on big skewers and then slice off the amount you want. It is delicious!

Baxter Update
This little guy is growing like a weed. He is so much fun. Already, he has learned to play fetch, sit, stay, and lie down on command. I don't think that's too bad for only being 12 weeks old. Now, if we can only get the potty training thing down...

HELP!!!
This year, I have the honor and pleasure of participating in MDA's Tupelo Lock-Up Day on May 14th to help "Jerry's Kids®". To reach my $1,000 goal I need your help!
I'd like to include you or your company on my list of contributors who are helping me reach my goal. Your donation would help MDA continue the important fight against muscular dystrophy. Check out my web page by clicking on the link above. There you'll find all kinds of information about MDA, and be able to make your tax-deductible donation on-line using your credit card.
MDA serves people in our community with neuromuscular disease by providing clinics, support groups, assistance with the purchase and repair of wheelchairs, braces and communication devices, and summer camp for kids. MDA also funds research grants to help find treatments and cures for some 43 neuromuscular diseases that affect people of all ages, right here in our community.
I sincerely hope that you'll take the opportunity to support MDA. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to e-mail me at danatbg@yahoo.com.
On behalf of the families MDA serves, thank you!
